How it works:

A septic tank is one that utilizes the principles of precipitation and anaerobic fermentation. Primary treatment structure for removing suspended organic matter from domestic sewage. Domestic sewage contains a lot of feces, paper scraps, pathogens and other impurities. The concentration of suspended solids is 100-350mg, and the concentration of organic matter BOD5 is between 100-400mg, of which the suspended organic matter BOD5 is 50-200mg. The sewage enters the septic tank and settles for 12-24h to remove 50%-60% of the suspended matter. After more than 3 months of anaerobic digestion, the sediment sludge decomposes the organic matter in the sludge into stable inorganic matter. The perishable raw sludge is transformed into stable cooked sludge. The structure of the sludge was changed. The moisture content of the sludge is reduced, and it is regularly removed and transported to landfill or used as fertilizer.
